by golly . . . i think i've got it

I've been messing around with blog titles since we started this thing. And come up empty handed every time I try to think of something. I think too hard. Way too hard. But I love how everyone has the perfect title to suit their fancy - even when their pictures change.

Anyway . . . I've been listening closely to things that come up in conversation a lot between Eric and I. Besides the word 'hardly,' which comes up a lot - I have no idea why? - it seems every time one of us is about to start telling a story we start with "here's the thing." And I finally decided , why not that? That's what we do on here. Tell stories. It would only be appropriate that we add in a little 'here's the thing' at the beginning.

so . . . it caused a snowball effect and inspired me to give the 'ol blog a little face lift. Now it's late and I'm tired of drawing stick figures. So there you have it. The long explanation that you didn't even ask for.
