Dear 15 year old boy at Home Depot,

Did you know that it took me three try's to get that 80 pound bag of cement into my cart?

Did you know that after I finally tipped the top of it over the edge of my cart so that it would fall in, I started crying because it was then I realized that was just another thing my husband did for me that I took for granted?

Did you know that at the register I was hoping the guy checking me out would offer to help me out with it, but I was too embarrassed to ask?

Did you know that when you walked up to my car and dropped your armful of things to ask if you could help me get it into the backseat that the reason I turned away from you was because I didn't want you to see me crying?

No.

I don't think you knew any of those things. And you will NEVER KNOW how much that meant to me. Thank you for being who you are and living the life that you live.

I'll never be able to repay you - I wish I knew who you were. But you should know that you inspired me to be better than myself; and since I can't pay it back to you, I promise to pay it forward to someone else. Thank you.

Sincerely,
The Home Depot Girl

It's amazing how Heavenly Father can inspire the most unlikely people to help us in our time of need. I have a feeling your blogs are going to be tear jerkers for the next 3 months...but you inspire my testimony for Heavenly Father's love to grow.
