in honor of the BIG boy and the little girl
almost every time someone meets Braxton for the first time two things come out of their mouths. It never fails.
1) "Wow!! He has a lot of hair!"
and/or
2) "He's a BIG boy."
the responses have gotten lamer and lamer as time goes on. Usually, it's something like this:
1) Yah, hopefully our girls have as much hair as him.
2) Yah, he's a heavy weight!!
3) Well, when you're trying to build up Helaman's second army, you gotta make sure they're big.
Lately, though, we've been telling people about Brittain. Brittain is our niece (by way of Eric's sister, in case you were wondering). She just turned one in February. I've only had the privilege of meeting her once, before we had Braxton, because they live across the country. Apparently, she's just exactly the opposite of Braxton. teeny tiny. For me, there was nothing to compare her to, so she seemed normal sized, I guess.
. . . So, lately we've been telling people, "yah, we have a niece that's a year old who's the same size."
I really wish we lived close enough to get them together. Since we don't, I thought it might be fun to compare with picures. I've been trying to think of something we'd both have that we could take a picture next to so we'd be able to see the difference. A laundry basket is the only thing I could think of besides a gallon of milk?? Maybe it will work, maybe it won't?
Dest - if you ever have a minute (or a better idea :o) ) let me know what you think.
Here's my laundry pics. I'll post ones of her when we get some.

Very cute. I'll get right on it.
I love, love Braxton's eyes. Look how big they are. (What do you have for that?)
