I've been wanting to make some kind of sensory box with all kinds of stuff the boys could play in. I was thinking along the lines of some rice or noodles (or for heavens sake, hopefully just a sandbox someday). I've been trying to get some things done before conference today and with that on the brain, we put this together:

I bought about 6 boxes of rice krispies a while back because they were on sale (we don't really even eat them ?? those sales get me every time). I grabbed a couple of them and dumped them into a few different containers and gave them all kind of "tools" to play with. They stayed busy for well over an hour - just enough time for me to get things done I needed to. Thank goodness.

You're such a cool Mom! What a great idea. I'm glad those rice krispies didn't go to waste.
