Manti

Does anyone still follow us? I really need to keep posting for our family's journaling sake, but there never seems to be enough time . . . I'm in between classes, it seems as good a time as any.

Last weekend we went to Manti with my brother and his wife to be sealed together and to their baby girl. Did anyone know Manti is tiny? Like really tiny. The town had one main road with some cute little shops and then there's the temple. Thats it. The temple looks like a castle. It's beautiful.

We had some time to spare with the kids before going in so we hit up a hole in the wall pizza place called Lotsa Motsa Pizza. Braxton was immediately drawn to one of the two pool tables they had inside where a couple of gruff, cowboy booted guys were playing a game. He stood and watched them for several minutes (probably a little too close for comfort). Every time they'd get a ball in the hole he'd say "mom, mom" and point. After a few of those, the older guy dug three quarters out of his pocket and gave them to Braxton to play a game on the table next to them. I showed him how to put the quarters in the hole and he pushed the lever in and heard the balls roll down the table. I'm not sure I've ever seen him so excited. We pulled a chair next to the table and he picked a stick and climbed up. Eric helped him hit ALL the balls in. Every single one. Two year old pool heaven. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of it, but I didn't. But he sure did love the pizza, though. And I can't leave out little mister Conner. He was content watching his big brother hit the balls as long as we let him drink from his water bottle ALL BY HIMSELF. He kept showing us how he could hold it in his mouth with no hands. What a goofball! One year old water bottle heaven. Really.

The sealing itself was awesome. Probably the best one I've ever been to. I must have needed to hear all those things too. Congrats Shawn and Kate. Your family really is beautiful.

I, of course, still check in every once in a while. I mean, your boys are adorable and how else would I hear about such great news! I am so happy for Shawn and his family!!! I love sealings and I am glad I have lots of sisters so that I will for sure (I better) get to attend alot. They are always a good reminder and they hit home a lot more than proxy sealings.
Yeah for an update!
