I went to sleep on the wrong side of the bed last night.
Eric's side.Woke up on the wrong side, too.
That's weird. I hate that side of the bed.
Just a small taste of what it will be like when he leaves for 3 Fast Sundays.
Yes, Fast Sundays. That's what I'm counting it in. There are only 3 of those.
Anyways, Eric got home from his first training a couple of hours ago. He said he actually had a lot of fun; all yelling aside!! He actually really already was a soldier when he left, by the way, he just didn't have a uniform. That kinda made it official. Anyways, here's our husband, father, son, brother, friend, and American Soldier in his ACU's (don't even ask me what that stands for, I have no idea what half of the acronyms are. But I do know that whole alphabet AND the stripes he has to memorize so he knows how to identify all of the commanding officers :)

So what are the dates that Eric will be at Fort Sill? Janet told me he would be there from May through August but I didn't get exact dates. Will you be coming down when he graduates? I am in Africa right now but will be back at Fort Sill around the middle of June. I was thinking maybe we could have a family reunion around the time that he graduated if family was already planning to be there. Let me know what you think about this. Uncle James
He looked so cute in his uniform! (I don't suppose that is what he was going for?) seiously, i could only see his head moving along the living room...those camo's really work!!!
I still can't really believe it. What a good lookin' soldier!
