Hot chocolate (mmmmmmm, especially Eric's special homemade recipe) and sledding are fun, but theres just something about being able to go outside without 400 layers of clothes on that makes us giddy. Seriously, you should hear how much these two talk about summer. They wore shorts the other day just because they were dying to put them on. It was 36 degrees outside. Goofballs.<br />
<br />
They like to pretend its time for swimming lessons and run around outside like this . . .<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E2stuByUlog/UVH3gmL8VJI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/luN7StcZPNE/s1600/32613blog1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E2stuByUlog/UVH3gmL8VJI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/luN7StcZPNE/s640/32613blog1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This guy loves it just because we finally let him have his feet on the ground when we're outside. He learned to walk several months ago, but just couldn't quite get the hang of walking on the snow. Now he's chasing those older brothers all around the yard, happy as a clam.</div>

Me mostly, since it finally means I only have to change one diapered boy per day now.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iB2uQgais1g/TdWjkjk2ScI/AAAAAAAAANY/frvmxo0vNto/s1600/bigboy.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 172px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iB2uQgais1g/TdWjkjk2ScI/AAAAAAAAANY/frvmxo0vNto/s400/bigboy.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608568759380232642" /></a>Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526432174760445976.post-49946516094482658942011-04-12T21:53:00.000-06:002011-04-12T21:53:30.081-06:00New rideI have been traveling to Rexburg for school 5 days a week and usually at least three times in my truck which gets 12-13 miles per gallon. I decided to buy me a road bike for the summer to help save on gas. I had been looking for almost two months when I finally decided I was going to have to save some more money because I just couldn't find anything good for around 1500 dollars. Then one day when I got out of my class I happened to find this beautiful charmer.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gsE_rA-fDwM/TaBlnQkGb0I/AAAAAAAAAMk/Hp3BMBiKyj0/s1600/IMG_6071.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5593582462329843522" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gsE_rA-fDwM/TaBlnQkGb0I/AAAAAAAAAMk/Hp3BMBiKyj0/s400/IMG_6071.JPG" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 267px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><br />
I found it on craigslist and they were asking 1200 O.B.O. It was in Twin Falls so I offered him 1000 and he said yes. So I asked him if he would hold it for me while I came to get it since I live in Idaho Falls and again he said Yes. I could hardly believe it. It is a 2002 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe VT600CD, it has 12,480 miles on it and of course as you can see it is PINK!!!<br />
<br />
Which I didn't think was too bad until the other day I pulled up behind some other biker dudes and well lets just say it was kind of embarassing, but for 1000 dollars I couldn't pass up the deal. So this is what happened!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-liysIytCq-g/TaUT5RRbaQI/AAAAAAAAAMs/A9yW7ATb6lA/s1600/IMG_6073.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-liysIytCq-g/TaUT5RRbaQI/AAAAAAAAAMs/A9yW7ATb6lA/s320/IMG_6073.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> First the seat came off....<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NyTU70Btn0o/TaUVDEBsawI/AAAAAAAAAMw/qMpe_4vxeyU/s1600/IMG_6074.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NyTU70Btn0o/TaUVDEBsawI/AAAAAAAAAMw/qMpe_4vxeyU/s320/IMG_6074.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>And then the side covers.... And the next thing you know I have all the parts off of my bike laying out in my backyard!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WxzWhJw8tJw/TaUXN3LgG_I/AAAAAAAAAM0/hIYJRTwPO8k/s1600/IMG_6104.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WxzWhJw8tJw/TaUXN3LgG_I/AAAAAAAAAM0/hIYJRTwPO8k/s320/IMG_6104.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> This is what my bike looked like with all the parts off of it.<br />
This is what my parts began to look like after I sanded and primed them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ykI7H4TBJuU/TaUXuPS2m1I/AAAAAAAAANA/Ly27DKl1o3k/s1600/IMG_6100.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ykI7H4TBJuU/TaUXuPS2m1I/AAAAAAAAANA/Ly27DKl1o3k/s320/IMG_6100.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c6CkEMipfjo/TaUXieP2OOI/AAAAAAAAAM8/eVaDU2aSqXY/s1600/IMG_6079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c6CkEMipfjo/TaUXieP2OOI/AAAAAAAAAM8/eVaDU2aSqXY/s320/IMG_6079.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_9zMMo3JZwQ/TaUXZs0X7QI/AAAAAAAAAM4/3f0c1x6eKEQ/s1600/IMG_6078.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_9zMMo3JZwQ/TaUXZs0X7QI/AAAAAAAAAM4/3f0c1x6eKEQ/s320/IMG_6078.JPG" width="213" /></a></div> Then came the good part, after I got all the pieces sanded and primed I began putting the first coat of paint on...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PfdnjitGJck/TaUYECWkCWI/AAAAAAAAANI/ScgYV8PgrVc/s1600/IMG_6102.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PfdnjitGJck/TaUYECWkCWI/AAAAAAAAANI/ScgYV8PgrVc/s320/IMG_6102.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>And then finally... I got all the pieces painted. I put about 3 coats on and then after that I put a couple coats of clear coat on the top to really make it shine. And now 20 dollars later I have a brand new paint job. Here is the finished product!<br />
<br />
<br />

I was thinking along the lines of some rice or noodles (or for heavens sake, hopefully just a sandbox someday). I've been trying to get some things done before conference today and with that on the brain, we put this together:<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zBQ-q4keRoE/TZdKroe6O7I/AAAAAAAAAMc/AbgjL6ySUv4/s1600/3.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zBQ-q4keRoE/TZdKroe6O7I/AAAAAAAAAMc/AbgjL6ySUv4/s400/3.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5591019575865654194" /></a><br /><br />I bought about 6 boxes of rice krispies a while back because they were on sale (we don't really even eat them ?? those sales get me every time). I grabbed a couple of them and dumped them into a few different containers and gave them all kind of "tools" to play with. They stayed busy for well over an hour - just enough time for me to get things done I needed to. Thank goodness.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-81FtwkwEwa4/TZdKrq2wC1I/AAAAAAAAAMU/9RugMXlJYpA/s1600/2.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-81FtwkwEwa4/TZdKrq2wC1I/AAAAAAAAAMU/9RugMXlJYpA/s400/2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5591019576502520658" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R24DqJbuH1o/TZdKrGjv-YI/AAAAAAAAAMM/D-cV5hwldS0/s1600/1.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R24DqJbuH1o/TZdKrGjv-YI/AAAAAAAAAMM/D-cV5hwldS0/s400/1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5591019566759147906" /></a>Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526432174760445976.post-27824359418188215572011-03-15T11:22:00.005-06:002011-03-15T12:03:13.736-06:00MantiDoes anyone still follow us? I really need to keep posting for our family's journaling sake, but there never seems to be enough time . . . I'm in between classes, it seems as good a time as any.<br /><br />Last weekend we went to Manti with my brother and his wife to be sealed together and to their baby girl. Did anyone know Manti is tiny? Like really tiny. The town had one main road with some cute little shops and then there's the temple. Thats it. The temple looks like a castle. Braxton was immediately drawn to one of the two pool tables they had inside where a couple of gruff, cowboy booted guys were playing a game. He stood and watched them for several minutes (probably a little too close for comfort). Every time they'd get a ball in the hole he'd say "mom, mom" and point. After a few of those, the older guy dug three quarters out of his pocket and gave them to Braxton to play a game on the table next to them. I showed him how to put the quarters in the hole and he pushed the lever in and heard the balls roll down the table. I'm not sure I've ever seen him so excited. We pulled a chair next to the table and he picked a stick and climbed up. Eric helped him hit ALL the balls in. Every single one. Two year old pool heaven. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of it, but I didn't. But he sure did love the pizza, though. And I can't leave out little mister Conner. He was content watching his big brother hit the balls as long as we let him drink from his water bottle ALL BY HIMSELF. He kept showing us how he could hold it in his mouth with no hands. What a goofball! One year old water bottle heaven. Really.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rJalNoLH82E/TX-n4CQQoUI/AAAAAAAAALE/DoGQqpL2v8Y/s1600/IMG_5853.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rJalNoLH82E/TX-n4CQQoUI/AAAAAAAAALE/DoGQqpL2v8Y/s400/IMG_5853.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584366644082286914" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--nTKm1UTRZw/TX-n4f2WOtI/AAAAAAAAALM/W5SBCJi0qng/s1600/IMG_5861.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--nTKm1UTRZw/TX-n4f2WOtI/AAAAAAAAALM/W5SBCJi0qng/s400/IMG_5861.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584366652026665682" /></a><br /><br />The sealing itself was awesome. Frost on the windshield, see your breath in the morning, had to make warmer pj's for the kiddos (thanks grandma:) kind of cold. Brrrr . . . we've been cooped up. And in definite need of some indoor projects to keep us sane. Me, at least.<br /><br />So I turned a couple of dresses that haven't fit me since before the babies came into VERY stretchy elastic skirts. Aaahhh . . . that's better!<br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYAR5OwI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/mvXTyDdzAng/s1600/skirt.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5533555462453672706" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYAR5OwI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/mvXTyDdzAng/s400/skirt.jpg" /></a><br /><br />It was super easy. I just cut them off right at the waist. One of them I just folded right over and sewed some elastic into the top - the other one I wanted a little longer, so I added a little fabric to the top and then did the waistband thing. Much better.<br /><br />As for the kids - well, Conner stays pretty busy trying to learn how to walk before he's really even crawled and Braxton's been doing quite a few projects from <a href="http://www.supermommoments.com/">here</a> and <a href="http://confessionsofahomeschooler.blogspot.com/2010/05/prek-numbers-shapes-colors-review.html">here</a>. Thank goodness I found those. LIFESAVER.<br /><br />In other good news, we're hopefully going to get an updated family picture tomorrow :) We've been in our house for over two years now and can you believe I still don't have ANY pictures hanging? Shame. But we did get these ones, thank goodness. Because man alive, these guys are growing fast.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYTgzYBI/AAAAAAAAAKg/_TLrs9ToLnI/s1600/C.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 266px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5533555467616477202" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYTgzYBI/AAAAAAAAAKg/_TLrs9ToLnI/s400/C.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYeIZSnI/AAAAAAAAAKY/DcAZvUA1DiA/s1600/B.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 254px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5533555470466894450" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TMsjYeIZSnI/AAAAAAAAAKY/DcAZvUA1DiA/s400/B.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526432174760445976.post-25977931402152339142010-10-25T09:08:00.003-06:002010-10-25T10:43:22.048-06:00twenty freakin fourI turned 24 last week. One week ago exactly, actually.<br /><br />A song popped up on the radio last night that took Eric and I both back to our dating years. (Isn't it crazy how songs can do that?) One part of the song says, " . . . I think about you, 8 years old, big blue eyes, and a heart of gold . . . " (name that tune :)<br /><br />And since Eric always thinks it's funny to insert his own lyrics into songs, he used to sing it to me saying '18 years old'. Then he mentioned how he couldn't quite believe that.<br /><br />"You're twenty freakin four!! Can you believe that?!," was exactly how he said it actually, "That was six years ago. SIX years ago. In six more years we'll both be 30."<br /><br />Every once in a while I do feel rushed to get things done - like my life is passing me by. Wondering sometimes if I've done all of the things I wanted to do by the time I turned 24. So after that explicit 'you're geting older' statement from my dear husband, there was a moment of panic.<br /><br />But only a moment.<br /><br />I feel pretty darn good about being where I am at the ripe old age of 24.<br /><br />(But if the next 6 years really do go as fast as the last 6, I'm going to have an 8 year old before I know it. That makes me dizzy.)Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526432174760445976.post-44009202176243812332010-10-04T22:10:00.006-06:002010-10-04T22:39:47.368-06:00terrific twos, here we come<div align="center"><br />we have somewhat of a habit of looking at our glasses half full around here :)<br />the first two days of "twodom" (yes, it's now a word) really have been terrific.<br />here's to 363 more days of terrificness (also a word)<br /><br /></div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqtCa1sgI/AAAAAAAAAKI/46zvfQ2IG4o/s1600/WEBREADY1.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415583643611650" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqtCa1sgI/AAAAAAAAAKI/46zvfQ2IG4o/s400/WEBREADY1.jpg" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqskVfg4I/AAAAAAAAAKA/PtMvUC_h8D8/s1600/WEBREADY2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415575568122754" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqskVfg4I/AAAAAAAAAKA/PtMvUC_h8D8/s400/WEBREADY2.jpg" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqseoyF_I/AAAAAAAAAJ4/e8L8XZKmURo/s1600/webready3.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415574038419442" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqseoyF_I/AAAAAAAAAJ4/e8L8XZKmURo/s400/webready3.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqsaU5S1I/AAAAAAAAAJw/RvcaMs3O_4Q/s1600/webready4.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415572881263442" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqsaU5S1I/AAAAAAAAAJw/RvcaMs3O_4Q/s400/webready4.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqsPjFQ5I/AAAAAAAAAJo/Obb1hWayZXA/s1600/webready5.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415569987978130" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqsPjFQ5I/AAAAAAAAAJo/Obb1hWayZXA/s400/webready5.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqcDIrEUI/AAAAAAAAAJg/4uMbWL1_n9I/s1600/webready6.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415291778076994" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqcDIrEUI/AAAAAAAAAJg/4uMbWL1_n9I/s400/webready6.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqb3lM20I/AAAAAAAAAJY/WmspbvufrBs/s1600/webready7.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415288676506434" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqb3lM20I/AAAAAAAAAJY/WmspbvufrBs/s400/webready7.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqbRlkq9I/AAAAAAAAAJQ/r3Ug1ZF1dKk/s1600/webready8.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415278477519826" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqbRlkq9I/AAAAAAAAAJQ/r3Ug1ZF1dKk/s400/webready8.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqbatojOI/AAAAAAAAAJI/C-VneFX9cIg/s1600/webready9.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 233px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524415280927247586" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TKqqbatojOI/AAAAAAAAAJI/C-VneFX9cIg/s400/webready9.jpg" /></a> </div></div></div></div></div></div>Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4526432174760445976.post-53846110961810527512010-06-28T12:54:00.003-06:002010-06-28T13:03:14.023-06:00just because I couldn't resist<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TCjxBmFLuvI/AAAAAAAAAIA/-ioBwmuU92I/s1600/IMG_3252.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487901155655400178" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kwwpfnLxscs/TCjxBmFLuvI/AAAAAAAAAIA/-ioBwmuU92I/s400/IMG_3252.JPG" /></a><br /><div>I've been having so much fun with my new camera. My body feels overwhelmingly over-stimulated. As if I have been breathing in, and in, and in and never exhaling. It's a weird feeling.<br /><br />The bottom line?<br />Heavenly Father loves me. He loves my family. And of all the other people in this ICU and in ICU's around the world, He noticed.<br />I'm not sure how He does it - but He does. And He noticed each of us.<br />He knows the 86 year old man in the room next door who was hit by a car and now lays in his bed with a traumatic brain ingury.<br />He knows the high school girl who's life was suddenly taken on her way to Seminary graduation.<br />He knows the 13 year old girl in the waiting room who's father broke his neck and is not expected to live much longer.<br />And he knows me.<br /><br />And for those of us who let him, he wraps his big arms around us. Letting us know that no matter what happens, we will always have Him; that our family will last past this life; and that we can get through anything with His help.<br /><br />And He loves us.<br /><br />I feel blessed that <em>my</em> husband will get out of his bed and walk out of here.<br /><br />But - even if he didn't - like that little girl's daddy probably won't - He's still there. And He'd help me get through anything, even (heaven forbid) that.<br /><br />Thanks mom - for teaching me about Him.<br /><br />Thanks family and friends - for believing in Him and having enough faith that Eric would be healed. Because he was. And I can count that as one of the greatest blessings of my entire life.<br /><br />And in private, I thank my Heaveny Father. He never left us. <br /><br />He healed us.Eric and Beckiihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01265653253801605754noreply@blogger.com2
